Accreditation

If your are interested in gaining accreditation for UNIcert®, please contact our Head Office in Dresden: mail@unicert-online.org. We are happy to help.

We will assist you throughout your accreditation process and will answer any questions you might have early on in the process. Please call us or send an email.

Read about what we have to offer here.

Your steps towards accreditation

[NB: Experience shows that the accreditation process takes up to twelve months.]

1. Design the following documents:

  • UNIcert® Framework and Examination Regulations (see here for examples)
  • sample UNIcert®-certificate
  • descriptions of the course contents / course programme
  • self-documentation (German version only)

2. Contact advisor (a member of the UNIcert® Executive Committee, assigned by the UNIcert® Head Office) to discuss documents and possible necessary modifications.

3. Submit documents (both paper and e-form) as well as UNIcert®-application form.

4. Perusal of documents by your advisor and a second member of the UNIcert® Executive Committee.

5. Accreditation is issued by our Head Office (under conditions, if applicable).

Congratulations!

You are now part of the UNIcert®-community and are able to offer UNIcert®-compatible foreign language courses and issue UNIcert®-certificates.

You thereby contribute to an increasing degree of comparability, transparency and quality in academic language learning and teaching.

We are currently working on a code of practice in which you can find detailed information on the accreditation / reaccreditation process. The German version can be accessed here.
